Awana News

This week:
It's Thankful Night for all!  Dress like something you are thankful for.

This is the last week of the November food drive. All food will be taken to the food pantry at the Glenwood campus. The food pantry is especially in need of women's deodorant, diapers, baby wipes, bar soap, toilet tissue, dryer sheets, laundry detergent, dish detergent, all purpose cleaning supplies, also canned meats (salmon, tuna, ham, Vienna Sausage and the like), crackers, soups and complete meals in a box.

There is a friendly contest for grades K-6 between the boys and girls to see who can bring in the most items.

** Remember our new rules **
Technology policy:  All tech must be put away at 6 PM.  We prefer for it to be left with parents at that time.  If that is not an option, please have your child put it in their bag or coat at 6.  Awana leaders will have the right to collect any tech that is out during club time and store it in the Awana office.  Parents can come by the office at the end of club time at 7:30 to pick up their child's device.

Pick up for grades 2 and below:
For clubbers in K - 2nd:  Only someone in grade 7 or older should pick up.
For clubbers below grade K: Only someone age 16 or older should pick up.

Coming up:
Nov 26 - NO CLUB.  Enjoy Thanksgiving with your family.
Dec. 3 - (Sparks and T&T) Mission Time with WMU
Dec. 10 - Regular club night
Dec. 17 - (Sparks and T&T)  Special Christmas Party with the Youth
(Cubbies and Puggles) Birthday Party for Jesus
