Awana News

We have a fun night of Awana clubs planned tonight.

Sparks and T&T - It's our first Mission Time of the year.  Our lovely WMU ladies are back with a big show and tell tonight.  The Sullivan Baptist Association Disaster Relief van will be stopping by to let our Awana children go on a tour.  The kids will learn what the Relief van does and see some of the things onboard that they use to help people.

Cubbies and Puggles - Our littlest clubbers will be having a show and tell of their own.  Children are asked to bring in something special to show to the group.  This should be something that helps the other clubbers and leaders learn more about them (no animals).

Coming next week...
Crazy Hair Night!!!
Our clubbers LOVE this night.  For a $0.50 donation to missions, the children will get a crazy new hairdo, complete with colored hairspray.  (The hairspray shampoos out.)  For $1 extra, the clubbers can help "fix" their leaders hair.  Send your children ready to have some wild and wacky fun!

VBS is here!   On Sunday, June 2nd, our kids will be kicking off our exciting week of VBS by singing during both services.   We will meet in the vestibule at 10:30 to sing at the end of the first service, and then again at the beginning of the second service.   After the children sing for the second service, they are welcome to go to Sunday School or go sit with their parents.    We will only sing one song (our theme song)  "Colossal Coaster World".   If your child has a Colossal Coaster T-shirt, please have them wear it!   We are extremely excited to lead in worshiping our Lord and Savior!

Thanks so much!
