It's hard to believe that another year has gone by.  I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas.  They'll be no Sunday evening worship on Sunday, December 30th.  We look forward to Children's Choir resuming on Sunday, January 6, 2013 and AWANA's resuming on Wednesday, January 9, 2013.

We will be collecting our Christmas offering on Dec. 12th.  We are asking each clubber to bring $1 to give to the AWANA International Mission Fund.

CentriKid IS COMING SOON..........Mark your calendars for June 15 - June 19

For children who have completed Grades 3rd - 6th.  A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is due by Feb. 15th.  Reserve your spot.  Check out CentriKid website at http://centrikid.com.  

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and I pray that your thoughts are turning to what you are thankful for.  So often time we are quick to list what we are thankful for but we seem to forget to whom we are thankful.  The Bible says in James 1:17 that "Every good and perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."  Praise God from whom all blessings flow.  Take time this year as you sit around the table at your Thanksgiving meal to give thanks to God.  We have a family tradition of putting 3 kernels of corn on every ones plate and before we eat, we must name 3 things for which we are thankful.  Remember not only to thank the Lord but also take the next step and tell those who are around you for whom you are thankful. God bless you all in this season of Thanksgiving and cherish the time God has given us to spend time with family and friends.  ALSO:  Don't forget we will not have AWANA's this Wednesday evening.  All activities for this Wednesday at ISBC are cancelled.

A big THANK YOU to all those who helped with the Indian Springs Baptist Church fall festival this past Sunday evening. I appreciate your help as we showed Jesus to our community.  Pictures will be posted soon.  

Mark your calendar for Parent's Night Out on Friday, November 30th at the Glenwood Campus from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. for children Birth thru 6th grade.  You can sign up at the nursery check in desk beginning this Sunday, November 11th. 

Don't forget to set your clocks back this Saturday, Nov. 3rd.

Due to possible inclement weather on Wednesday, the Fall Festival planned at both campuses has been postponed until Sunday evening, November 4, 2012.  

The Fall Festival at the Hill Road Campus will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

We'll have a Fall Festival workday this week on either Thursday or Friday.  

Setup (putting up fence, tables, chairs and all game stations) for Hill Road Campus will be on Sunday beginning after the 11:00 worship.   Lunch will be provided.
